Must See Pix

Echidnas, sometimes known as spiny anteaters, belong to the family Tachyglossidae in the monotreme order of egg-laying mammals. The four extant species, together with the platypus, are the only surviving members of that order and are the only extant mammals that lay eggs.

They live in Australia and New Guinea. The echidnas are named after a monster in ancient Greek mythology.

Scientists have already established that human yawns can make dogs yawn. But that research has been taken a step further: A team from the University of Tokyo has found that dogs are significantly more likely to yawn when they see their owner yawn than they are when they see a stranger yawn. The results are believed to show that the emotional bond between people and their dogs is reciprocal.
