It's awkward when ...

It takes only 4 seconds for a silence to become awkward.

That depressing moment when you dip your cookie into milk for too long, it breaks off, and you wonder why bad things happen to good people.

That fake laugh you do when an old person tells a bad joke.

When someone ugly says "I need my beauty sleep" when in fact they need to hibernate.

If a man says you're ugly he's being mean.
If a woman says you're ugly she's envious.
If a little kid says you're ugly, you're ugly.

That awkward moment when ...

.... you spell the word correctly but it just looks so wrong, so you just stare at it forever.
.... your parents try to be funny in front of your friends.
.... someone says something to you for the fifth time and you still don't know what they said.
.... someone you don't know hardly at all decides to hug you.
.... you fall in love with someone from a dream.
.... someone says "brb" and never comes back.
.... Santa has the same wrapping paper as your mom.
.... you don't know if you should hug someone or not.
.... you freak out because you can't find something and then realize it was in front of you the whole time.
.... you do something amazing and no one is around to see it.
.... someone skinnier than you calls themselves fat.
.... you are Facebook stalking someone and then you accidentally like their status from 2 years ago.
.... your phone is ringing in a room you're not in, so you have to turn into a ninja to attempt to answer it.
.... you tell a joke, and you're the only one who laughs.
.... you're way more excited to see Monsters University than little kids are.
.... you buy a bag of air and there are chips inside.
.... you start singing a song in front of your parents, but then realize how inappropriate it is.
.... your friends say something bad in front of your parents.
.... you're so angry at someone that you can't concentrate on anything else.
.... you can't remember what you were going to do but you do remember you were going to do something.
.... you have a dream involving someone, and are never able to look at them in the same way again.
.... you realize you've given someone horribly wrong directions.
.... you add a new profile picture and someone Likes your old one.
.... someone asks to see your phone, so you let them look, then find them going through your messages.

.... someone walks in your room when you're singing.
.... you're making a milkshake and all the boys show up in your yard.
.... you're eating dinner at someone else's house and don't like the food, but you pretend to like it.
.... you are in super deep thought then 3 minutes later you realize you are staring straight at someone.
.... somebody is doing dishes and you slowly put another dish in the sink.
