Vanisha Mittal and Amit Bhatia
The daughter of India's richest person and her banker fiance Amit Bhatia kicked off the week with an engagement ceremony held at the Palace of Versailles, followed by a dinner at the famous Jardin des Tuileries prepared by chefs flown in from India. The wedding itself took place a few miles away at the 17th century Chateau Vaux le Vicomte. The highlight of the reception was a performance by pop star Kylie Minogue amidst fireworks at the Eiffel Tower.






Petra Ecclestone and James Stunt
The daughter of Formula 1 billionaire Bernie Ecclestone tied the knot in what was the society wedding of 2011. Held at Odescalchi Castle in Bracciano, Italy, the over-the-top affair featured performances by tenor Andrea Bocelli, pop group the Black Eyed Peas and DJ David Guetta at a combined cost of well over $3 million.







Delphine Arnault and Alessandro Vallarino Gancia
France's wedding of the year in 2005 was undoubtedly that of Delphine Arnault, the daughter of LVMH billionaire Bernard Arnault, who married Italian wine heir Alessandro Vallarino Gancia. The two wed in the Cathédrale Saint-Jean-Baptiste de Bazas in Gironde, while the reception took place at the legendary Château d'Yquem vineyard in Bordeaux. The affair featured a couture gown by John Galliano and a venue filled with 5000 white roses.






Donald Trump and Marla Maples
The Donald married second wife Marla Maples, a former showgirl, in the Grand Ballroom of the Plaza Hotel in New York on December 20th 1993. Said the Associated Press the next day: "The hype surrounding the event was trademark Trump: Fancy hotel. Six-foot cake. A bridal diamond tiara supposedly worth $2 million." The couple divorced in 1997.






John Henry and Linda Pizzuti
The once-divorced Red Sox owner tied the knot with Pizzuti, then 30, in 2009 on his 164-foot yacht, the Iroquois. The reception afterward was held in Fenway Park's outfield, where pop band Maroon 5 played for guests.





Phil Ruffin and Aleksandra Nikolaenko
Bride Aleksandra Nikolaenko, a former Miss Ukraine, wore a Michael Kors gown to her black-tie wedding to casino mogul Phil Ruffin in 2008. Donald Trump served as best man. Among the witnesses to the wedding in The Donald's Palm Beach, Fla., Mar-a-Lago mansion were Celine Dion and Justin Timberlake.





Donald Trump and Melania Knauss
Donald Trump's third wedding to model Melania Knauss took place at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida's Palm Beach. The bride's wedding dress was a $100,000 Christian Dior with a 13-ft train and 16-ft veil. The venue's ballroom was filled with 10,000 flowers, and guests dined on caviar, Grand Marnier cake and Cristal champagne.








Steve Wynn and Andrea Hissom
Casino billionaire Steve Wynn wed British beauty Andrea Hissom wed in April 2011 in front of 500 of their friends and family at the tycoon's Wynn Las Vegas resort. Best man Clint Eastwood can be seen in the background of the photo. Guests enjoyed performances by country stars Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood and took home mini replicas of the wedding cake.




Holly Branson and Fred Andrews
Virgin billionaire Richard Branson's daughter wed ship broker Fred Andrews in a lavish ceremony on the mogul's private Necker Island in December 2011. Guests included family friends Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, who had to be excused from a Christmas dinner with their grandmother the Queen to attend. The young blonde doctor was handed a huge check by glossy Hello! magazine to publish wedding photos; she told the UK's Telegraph that she donated that money to charity.




Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner
Donald's daughter married New York Observer owner Kushner in 2009 at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, N.J. Ivanka's jewelry alone cost more than the average wedding: her platinum and diamond hairpiece set her back $45,000 and her diamond earrings and bracelet were worth a combined $220,000.
